Editorial themes
Each month Wildloom sets a theme — sometimes a colour, sometimes a feeling, sometimes a place. Anyone can take part by sharing a bloom in The Bloom.
The flowers growing closest to home
No travel required. Photograph the flowers within walking distance of where you sleep — the ones you pass so often you have stopped seeing them.
Prompt · Photograph a flower within walking distance of your front door, and tell us how long it has been there.
Take part in The BloomA month of noticing the smallest sunlight
Yellow arrives quietly — a dandelion in a pavement crack, a marigold by a gate, a weed that turns a whole verge gold. This month we are looking for the yellows we usually walk past.
Prompt · Share a yellow flower you noticed this week. A weed counts. A blurry photograph counts.
